| Fellow artist, Chanda Beck and I were commissioned by the Unity Council of Oakland, CA to create an altar installation for the 2002 Dia De Los Muertos Festival. We chose to commemorate Jim Henson for his contributions to education, entertainment and promotion of cultural diversity. The installation included 'interactive' activities such as hopscotch and pictures of various Sesame St. characters, which were available to color and add to the installation. |
